COSY NOTES

Cosy Notes presents the transcript of an imaginative thought, originated by the adjective “cosy”, addressing objects’ capacity to warmly catch the subject’s mind and recall ideas of familiarity. These characteristics mark the evocative capacity of things.

The piece is formed by 29 modular units of the same format. Each of them combines different linguistic elements constraining them on the same level of interaction: drawn marks, photographic notes, words, and quotes. The wall installation organises such units following the logic of the music score: measures are linearly disposed in phrases, interrupted by breaks and returns. By such mean the grammar and rythm of thought is made visible.
