HOUSING MEMORY
Housing Memory aims at exploring how the images from memory experienced by a subject dwell the material reality which evoked them, thus shaping his personal experience of objective reality. Memory is here proposed as a cognitive method to inhabit reality, familiarise with anonymous spaces and turn them into places.
The project engages with various site specific locations by installing projections in the form of occasional events, gathering a public of invited visitors and casual passer-by. Locations, public and private, include: Milan, London and Wysing Arts Centre in Cambridgeshire.
The event of each installation is documented and survives as an edition of photographic prints.
